What is it?
The Town of Altona is collaborating with Urban Systems, a professional community consulting agency, to develop a new Recreation and Active Transportation Master Plan. This study takes feedback from residents of Altona and is intended to create a long term plan for the future development of recreation and active transportation in our community.
Is it effective?
The previous Recreation Master Plan led to developments such as a long stretch of our trail network, the Altona Aquatic Centre, and the Millennium Exhibition Centre.
How can I get involved?
A series of public pop-up events will be held in Altona, as well as online surveys for the community to attend and share their opinions for the future of recreation and active transportation. We officially have the first draft of our Recreation & Active Transportation Master Plan. Before we continue to revise the plan, we need your feedback!
